# Why not a pip package

Orekit python wrapper is today only packaged for conda packages. This is since the environment of conda is more controlled which gives less risks with issues from different versions of operating system, libraries, java and python. A pip package would be nice and contributors are welcome to create that, but there is quite some complexity in building the wrapper in different platforms. |
